You can call up an analysis of the cards that indicates the Soloist's probability of winning and of making Schneider or Schwarz. The probable play of the cards can also be shown.
Four new playing styles are available at the new Expert level. Simulations show that the improvement in the playing ability of the simulated players is dramatic.
The computer will evaluate your play against that of master players and rate your skill level.

The demo package requires at least 2Mb or RAM and System 7 to take advantage of all of the features. Further information about the program and an order form can be obtained from SKATMARKETING or from Uwe Rasche, the program's author.

If you are not yet familiar with the rules of Skat, it might be better to start with the Shareware Skat 1.1.2 program. You can also download the Macintosh tutorial Skat for Beginners or view the text-only version. Skat 1.1.2 is a more modest program that Skat 2.0 or Skat 3.0, but it takes up less disk space and will get you started. It is also playable on any Mac. After you have mastered the basics, you can then "graduate" to the improved version, Skat 2.0 or Skat 3.0 which contain new game options and sound.

A nice program with 3-D graphics and sound capability, it plays better than ever, offers a large number of popular options, and has a new look thanks to drawings by Uli Stein. NetSkat and WinSkat (English or Deutsch)
NetSkat is Michael Fischer's latest Skat program and it's playable over a Network or the internet. Comprehensive in scope, it offers a wide variety of tutorials and options in one large package with German or English card faces, speech capability, sophisticated playing strategies, a training program, and much more.
